Nelson's Electrix cheerleading squad defied all expectations at their first international competition, the Global Games in Hawaii. The novice Thunder and senior Lightning teams embarked on the journey with the simple aim of having fun and gaining valuable experience abroad. However, their performances surpassed all hopes, with Thunder emerging as champions in their division and Lightning securing an impressive fifth place overall.
